There is something really lovely about this Pietra Dura Highly Decorative Hanging Photograph Frame within a reeded giltwood surround, of exceptional quality and Italian origin, early to mid-Nineteenth Century.
Finely inlaid with a single upright flowering Iris in colours of white and dark reds on a black marble ground beside an oval portrait opening.
Condition: Good condition, with no losses. The wooden frame is also in good condition. The oval aperture is glazed. The back board has been replaced.
